Studio sessions at Idaho Image Studios take place in our beautifully appointed, custom-designed studio in Eagle, Idaho. This location is just minutes from downtown and designed with your comfort in mind. Our studio is fully stocked with everything you could imagine: soft, luxurious fabrics, hand-selected props and backdrops, and an elegant wardrobe for both you and your children. Before your session, we’ll send a simple, thoughtful questionnaire where you can share your color preferences, styling inspirations, and whether you’d love to include parent or sibling portraits. You’re welcome to send us inspiration photos—we’ll take every detail into account as we design a session that reflects your story, your style, and your heart. 

The day before your session, you’ll receive easy-to-follow preparation instructions. We know how tender and exhausting those early newborn days can be, and we’re here to make the process feel effortless and calm. When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a peaceful space with cozy seating, refreshments, and the gentle, expert care of one of our trusted hair and makeup artists if you are doing a full newborn session and prefer to add on those services. We always suggest choosing areas with soft, natural light to create that timeless, dreamy feel. 

On the day of your session, my trusted hair and makeup artist will arrive about 90 minutes beforehand, giving you a chance to relax while being pampered and prepared. If you’d like to add a touch of glamour, I can bring along a few of my carefully curated dresses from the studio wardrobe—but your favorite cozy, casual pieces work beautifully too. These sessions are about capturing you, just as you are, in the place you call home.
